20's plenty for Brighton

One of the new city-wide 20 mph speed limit signs on the northbound A23 London Road in Brighton. Brighton and Hove City Council will enforce from 8 April 2013.

Two cyclists injured in hit and run at Berwick

There was an incident on Station Road, Berwick on Sunday morning 9/12/12 at 10 am involving two cyclists and a 4x4 vehicle towing a horse trailer. As a result, one cyclist was left with a broken collar bone and the other with a head injury. The driver did not stop. See the Argus report here:…

20 mph victory!

This is wonderful news for road users. It is one of Bricycles’ long term campaign goals. Following agreement at the Transport Committee on November 27, Brighton and Hove City Council is introducing a 20 mph speed limit for the centre of Brighton and Hove from April 2013.
