Two cyclists injured in hit and run at Berwick

There was an incident on Station Road, Berwick on Sunday morning 9/12/12 at 10 am involving two cyclists and a 4x4 vehicle towing a horse trailer. As a result, one cyclist was left with a broken collar bone and the other with a head injury. The driver did not stop. See the Argus report here:

It's sad to hear about this crash. We often cycle on Station Road, Berwick as do many club cyclists. The photo shows a Brighton and Hove CTC ride on the road in October 2012.

Anyone who saw the 4x4 before or after the collision, or who thinks they know the identity of the driver, should contact Sussex Police on 101.
