The C7 is currently the only way of cycling between Lewes to Newhaven. Parishes of the Lower Ouse are asking local people to sign a petition to reduce the 50mph speed limit to 40 mph. We've been advised that, given enough support, there is a good chance that the Kingston road speed limit will be reduced when work starts on the first section of the Egrets way at the end of March.
